| Description | This is a dialect of Santa María Coatlán Zapotec. Rosemary Beam de Azcona's first field notes on Coatlán-Loxicha Zapotec. She begins with a wordlist, going through the words given by Dow Robinson in his published Field Notes on Coatlán Zapotec (1963). Next she goes through Terrence Kaufman's reconstruction of Proto-Zapotec, eliciting all the words there. This resource also includes some notes from meetings with Terrence Kaufman where Rosemary Beam de Azcon'a work on this language was discussed. |
