| Technical Description | This is a published version of the Comedia that appeared in the International Journal of American Linguistics Text Series (Mayan Texts I - edited by Louanna Furbee-Losee) in 1976. The publication explains that "[t]his is the text as retold by its author Gaspar Camposeco to Antonio Lopez who taped, transcribed, and translated. Antonio F. Mendez later retyped it to provide a word-by-word translation of it" (Craig 1976:105). There is no corresponding audio to the retold version in this collection. |
