Technical Description | Map of Tiquié and Papuri rivers showing Hup towns visited by Renato Athias. The green lines trace his paths through the region. The map was drawn on the back of a poster depicting Don John Bosco, the founder of the Salesian religious order prominent in the Upper Rio Negro region. Athias notes (2019) that he used this paper and poster "as a kind of passport" when visiting new Hupdë communities, showing where he had been and who knew him. |
