Technical DescriptionMap of Tiquié and Papuri rivers showing Hup towns visited by Renato Athias. The green lines trace his paths through the region. The map was drawn on the back of a poster depicting Don John Bosco, the founder of the Salesian religious order prominent in the Upper Rio Negro region. Athias notes (2019) that he used this paper and poster "as a kind of passport" when visiting new Hupdë communities, showing where he had been and who knew him.
