Description | Valdemar tells the story of the nô' çar (name of the Curupira's son). A woman gets pregnant from the Curupira (forest spirit). Then she sleeps in the house of a tarantula, then in the house of a bird, then in the house of a Tukano (bird) and then in the house of a jaguar. When the jaguar returns from hunting she laughs at him. The jaguar gets mad at her and kills her. The jaguar takes out the unborn baby of her belly and raises him. When the son of the Curupira grew up, he kills the wife and the daughter of the jaguar who raised him. |
