Description | The gentleman recounts the suffering that the inhabitants went through. They had to work and complete an order, interposed by then president of Guatemala, Jorge Ubico. He forced everyone to work without receiving a salary, so that they gave their labor for free, clearing the way for the road by their own means because they did not have tools. They were also subject to discrimination. |
