| Description | Don Gaspar tells us how the name of the place called Chel came to be, how many people discovered it, and what their names were. The gentleman also tell us that its name was not Chel, but that it was called "At the Edge of the Cooking Stone." He also says that the place was called “At the Shore of the Spring of Doña Rosa." When the teachers came to teach, it was then that they named it Chel, and that is why they now call it Chel. |
