Description | In this text, we will begin by answering some of the following question. First, we will peresent the limited data we have regarding the identification, extension and the number of users of this language. Next, we'll observe some of the sociolinguistic variation in the Federal District. Also, we will compare the Federal District's sign langugae with Monterrey's, to estimate the geographic variation in the country. Lastly, we will examine the external relations of Mexican Sign Language (LSM/LMM) with other sign languages; especially with American Sign Language (LSA/LMNA). |
