DescriptionThere once was a con man who needed money. He met a priest, who was on his way to perform a mass in a village. The con man tricked the priest to win a little money. He took the priest’s horse and pretended to be the priest himself. He went to the village, performed the mass, and took the donations of the villagers. He took their money and put it in the rear of the horse. He met a rich man, who was looking for a horse to buy. The con man told him that his horse defecated money. After negotiating, the rich man offered a lot of money for the horse. The con man took his offer. He took the money from the village (defecated by the horse by this point) and the money from the rich man. The rich man waited for his new horse to defecate money, but the horse never gave him money. The con man hung all his money in the branches of a tree that was close to someone else’s property. A man came up to the tree, and the evil man told him that he sold this tree to an owner who did not care much for trees. He explained, “My tree has another owner, but I do not know him.” The con man told this rich man that he was left with very little when he sold this tree. But this tree was outside of the property, so the rich man offered to buy it when a wind flung down all of the money in the tree. The con man took this money as well as the money of the rich man, who bought the tree. The new owner of the tree waited and waited for his new tree to give him money, but it never did. The con man had a younger brother who was good. The con man did not like his younger brother and wished that he would die. They received work from a rich man. The rich man’s three servants had robbed a jewel of his. The older brother offered to the rich man that his younger brother find the jewel in three days, explaining that his little brother was very powerful. He actually wanted his younger brother to die. The boss put them in a room with the intention of killing them if in three days the jewel did not appear. By luck, the servants took the jewel on the last day to the con man. As a reward, the boss offered money for the recovery. The two brothers left that village and used that money to buy food. The younger brother had some leftover tortillas and gave them to some ants. Given that they used up all of their money, they asked a man for work. The man told them to separate grains of salt from grains of sugar, which were mixed together. Their new boss gave them a week to separate them. The younger brother began to cry, and immediately, the ants he had fed earlier came to help him. At the end of the week, the boss returned, finding a job well done, and gave them money. By this point, the younger brother wanted to separate from his older brother. They separate and each get married to a woman. The older brother, accustomed to laziness, married a woman who had a lot of land. She asked him to work, but the man did not want to. Instead, he lies down outside and marvels at the freedom of the vultures flying above. He asked one of them if he could exchange positions with him. They exchange bodies. The man (now a vulture) flies and looks for food, only to realize that he did not like what the vultures ate, because they ate only dead dogs. He dies alone, because he could not talk to humans. His wife did not realize the change that had taken place until one day, she asked her husband (who was a vulture before) to take a bath in the steam room. Since the man was a vulture before, he was not accustomed to bathing like a human. The woman went with him, and the man defecated a white feces in the steam room. The vultures defecate white feces, and that was how the woman came to realize this was not her husband. The man confessed that he was not her husband, that he was a vulture before, and that is why he defecates white feces. The woman threw hot water on him and told him to leave from there.
