She learned the basic skills of reading and writing when a priest brought her to a convent so he could learn.
CTP008R013I002 In this video Hilaria Cruz and Natalia are having a conversation about Natalia's life and what she does to make ends meet in her community. Natalia relataes to Hilaria that she sells food and miscelanous stuff in a little store she has in the center of town. The town of Amialtepec is frequently visited by religious tourist that come to see the Virgen. The popular belief among catholic believes is that the Virgen in this church is the same virgen that it is located at the church in Juquila.
