DescriptionWe went to the offices of Community Property (Bienes Comunales) to talk with Eligio Vicente Vazquez who spoke with Emiliana about the names of the mountains around San Juan Quiahije. Later, we climbed to the top of the bell tower in San Juan so that he could point out the places he named. Emiliana drew the mountains while he gave their names in Chatino. He put a cross in those places which have a sacred significance. Later, we returned to the office to talk with Martin Baltazar so that Emiliana could put the names of the mountains on the large INEGI map.
