DescriptionThe Quechua life history of a Bolivian woman who worked underground in the Patiño mines during the Chaco War. My translation into Spanish has been published with co-editor Manuel Rocca with the title "Dos Mujeres Indigenas", by Instituto Indigena. Like most Quechua speakers, she speaks of events as though they are transpiring at the moment of telling, never giving away the ultimate event as she describes the context in minute detail.
