Katyayïnto': fiesta of the putting on of the guayuco.
This is the culmination of the boys' initiation during which the boys will put on the ritual white guayuco with drawing painted on them so that later they will have their first onoto-colored guayuco. The boys are adorned and dressed by their godfathers who always come from friendly neighboring communities. The fiesta, like the murankïnëto´, consists of a series of dances and chants outside and inside the collective hut. This is a happy festival during which lots of chicha is drunk and it ends with the distribution of meats and cassava bread.
The last of these festivals in this town because of the missionaries.
