DescriptionBetween the murankïnëto' and the katyayïnto', a series of chants are performed during different nights:
* Kaimo yonkonto': chants for the raising of the kaimo.
This is one of the phases of the initiation of boys. The kaimo is the bundle of smoked meats that will be distributed in the last fiesta of the boys' initiation. The chants refer in particular to the animals that have been hunted. The bundle should be preserved on a platform situated beneath the roof of the churuata (collective house) until the day of the fiesta.
* utoyanto': chants for harvesting bitter yucca.
* utomïkun: chants for grating the bitter yucca before making the cassava bread.
* katyayamenkën: chants for painting the ritual guayuco of the initiated boys.
