DescriptionPuhi ohotamou commemorative lament of a departed one.
These laments always take place in the evening, during the night or at sunrise. A man now adult weeps over the death of his young brother, a very beautiful adolescent. The older brother remembers in his chant his life with his brother, sharing their meals, learning to hunt, to make war, their walks in the jungle, their behavior with women.
