DescriptionThis folder contains the digitization of Reel 5 (see the scan of the reel-to-reel tape box), digitized as JAC002R0012|001.wav. The recording corresponds to a comedy performed by a theatre troupe from the village of Yinchewex that had been invited to Jacaltenango.

Additionally, the folder contains the published text of the retold version of the "Comedia" recorded at a later date (Craig 1976).

Note: The original open reel tape is in the Special Collections of the Benson Latin American Collections library at the University of Texas at Austin.
