Language of Indigenous Description
DescriptionInterview and cultural themes. Side 1 (I001) and side 2 (I002). This resource was deposited with the resources for the languages: Chulupí, Pilagá, Wichí, and Chorote. This language is likely to be one of the four.

Update: When these files were archived on October 6, 2004, the indigenous language could not be identified, so they were archived as an unspecified language. On May 9, 2018, Analía Gutiérrez, PhD, an expert in the Nivaclé language, contacted AILLA to verify that this language is, indeed, Nivaclé (referred to with the pejorative name Chulupí above) and that the researcher is eliciting vocabulary related to initiation rituals. On May 10, AILLA staff updated this record to specify the language and to change the title from "Conversation in unspecified language" to "Elicitation in Nivaclé".
