| Description | A collection of notes, graphs, and writings about the demography of Hupdë communities of the Upper Rio Negro circa 1968-2002. Some of these documents are notes and observations directly made by Renato Athias whereas others were collected by Athias from various sources in the region. Recurring themes within these materials are sketches of village plans, detailed lists of the inhabitants of each house, genealogical charts of prominent families, kinship terminology, and the distribution and prevalence of clans across Hupdë villages. |
