| Description | The speaker recognizes a drawing of a rodent called lomocha in a dictionary. She first verifies its identity by asking the woman next to her if it is in fact a lomocha. This first pronounciation is neutral in affect. Having established what it is, she then “emotes”, by pronouncing its name with a highly affective profile, marked by a distinctly lower pitch on the last two syllables. |
