Technical Description | Chiefs meet in the gathering house. They sit in a what the Kuna call a "perched" position, looking over the front of the hammock. Chiefs typically wear hats on special occasions. They meet up every morning and discuss dreams, other visitors, what business they may conduct that day, and where to do it. It does not seem as though they have begun chanting. |
